Millfield Nursery School

Situated within its own delightful 8-acre rural setting, Millfield has 40 places for children aged two to five years old. It has extensive indoor and outdoor facilities. The nursery helps children become independent, self-motivated and confident. Children are encouraged to progress at their own rate of development through the Early Years Foundation Stage and into Key Stage One where appropriate. MRP Developments

Property Development, Investment and Management. The MRP group of companies has been active in residential property investment since 1998 and in development since 2002. They use in-house architectural and planning expertise and focus on design-led schemes across all property sectors. Dove Cottage Day Hospice

Dove Cottage Day Hospice is situated in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir just outside Stathern. Dove Cottage offer high quality palliative day care to people living in North East Leicestershire, Rutland and South East Nottinghamshire with supportive and palliative care needs, living with advanced progressive life-limiting illness. Sophie’s Academy of Performing Arts

Sophie’s Academy of Performing Arts emphasises the enjoyment of dance with a youthful, dynamic approach while delivering the highest level of dance instruction through the IDTA.  Sophie believes that shows provide the best way not only to build self confidence and performance skills but also to develop friendship in a supportive, fun environment. Colston Bassett Local History Group

Colston  Bassett Local History Group has an active membership pursuing a range of  projects relating to the varied and extensive history of the village, which  can trace its origins back to Saxon times. The school has been at the heart  of the community since it was established as a Church of England School in  1872. One of the group's current projects is to develop a pictorial history  of the school since it's inception and anyone interested in contributing  material can do so via the contact information on the  website.

Colston Bassett Dairy

For almost a centrury, Colston Bassett and District Dairy has been making the finest quality Blue Stilton, "King of Cheeses". The Print Quarter

The Print Quarter are local Nottingham experts in book & thesis binding, digital printing, lithographic printing and design for print. Based in West Bridgford for over 20 years, The Print Quarter has built up a good customer base in the commercial sector and helped local people who may be starting a new venture with advice and any requirements needed to promote their new business. Vale First Responders

The Vale First Responders (VFR) are volunteer members of the community who are trained to respond to emergency calls through the 999 system in conjunction with the East Midlands Ambulance Service. The Responders are trained to provide basic life support and defibrillation to patients in rural areas within the Vale of Belvoir, where distance may delay the prompt arrival of an ambulance. The VFR save many lives on a regular basis, and are always looking for supporters and volunteers to become Responders.

Belvoir Castle

Belvoir Castle stands high on a hill overlooking 16,000 acres of woodland and farmland. Visitors from all over the world are welcomed here to events in the park, weddings, the world famous pheasant and partridge Belvoir Shoot, tours of the Castle and its art collection and the recently renovated gardens. Events take place in the castle and park every weekend during the opening season, such as the Steam Festival, Napoleonic Wars, medieval jousting, teddy bears picnics, family days, morris dancing and open air concerts and theatre.
